Keep them in the fridge

Microgreens stay freshest when refrigerated. Store them in the main body of the fridge, not in the door where temperature fluctuates.

Use the right container

If your microgreens arrive in a breathable container, keep them in it. If you transfer them, use a container or bag that allows some airflow. Avoid sealing them in an airtight bag—that can trap moisture and speed up decay.

Avoid excess moisture

Don't wash microgreens until just before use. If they're damp when you receive them, gently pat dry with a paper towel before storing. Excess water promotes wilting and mould.

Use within a week

For best flavour and texture, use microgreens within 5–7 days of delivery. Older greens may wilt or lose their punch. If you have more than you need, add them to smoothies, top soups, or share with a neighbour.
